WELCOME TO MY SITE

Kylie Fonacier is a Vancouver-based, Filipino-Canadian composer, musical director, lyricist, singer, pianist, educator, and conductor.

Her most recent ventures as musical director in the Lower Mainland include credits such as Fabulist Theatre's "All Together Now (2021)", Treehouse Theatre's "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (2022)" and "Roald Dahl's Matilda: the Musical (2023)," and Ioco Players Theatre's "Stages: Sondheim and Schwartz (2022)," and this year's "Lullaby to Broadway" from AUGUST 31st to SEPTEMBER 2nd at the Inlet Theatre.

From original musical theatre-esque and instrumental works to performing original or favorite music, be it singing or on the piano, her aim is to take listeners on a vast array of journeys that are often thought-provoking and emotionally driven with an occasional mix of humor and heart.

 

Kylie has won awards for her music, most recently placing one of three winners in SongSLAM 2020 on November 28, 2020, the VAM Young Composers' Competition for the VAM Symphony Orchestra in March, 2020, and Sing Me a Song, BC in 2014.
